Its Been a Year!

Isaac is now one year old. We had a small party for his birthday. He got to have cupcakes for the first time... He wasn't really sure what to do with them to begin with, but soon got the picture. :) He received several gifts that he was very excited over. (Thank you everybody) Monthly update: He is getting very independent and now prefers to feed himself. In other words, he would rather go without food than have someone else feed him. Makes for messy and funny meals. He also has said (is often saying) his first word -- kitty -- although it sounds more like "gitty." Now I always know when one of the cats has entered the room.

September 2008

Well... I am sorry. I have not posted for two months and need to catch everyone up on Isaac. He is now eleven months old, has his first two teeth (something very new and not much fun), and is working on his third tooth. He started walking at 9 1/2 months and has progressed to running. And falling too. He is pretty much fearless and will walk off any ledge he can find. Food is very important to Isaac. And anything that we are eating is fair game. Rocks are some of the coolest things in Isaac's world - and his goal is to get as many as possible into his mouth before his mommy can stop him. Yippee! Over all a very happy kid - teething aside.

Our house is coming along... we think we now have chosen our paint color. Maybe. :) For those who care, we think its going to be the green color next to the window. :)
